It's specially decorated for my one & only one chweet Brother..!! The day which i was waiting for  A BOND OF PROTECTION AND LOVE ..!! 

What is Rakhi & Why it is tied ?

In Ancient times RAKHI was tied by women on her husband's wrist, later they tied to their beloved brothers to protect them from evil factors and to strengthen the Bond of Sibling LOVE. It's also practised in many parts of the world, Rakhi is being tied to the children by their parents, also to the students by their honorable teachers as Raksha. It was believed  to protect them from evil effects & its consequences. Even in Mahabharat, it was noticed that Kunti tied Rakhi to her Grandson Abhimanyu to protect him from battle.

Colorful Quilled Flowers

Hay, Happy day...!!

Colorful Quilled Flowers :) :D

 Quilling is the art of using strips of papers that are rolled by quilling tool which look like coiled shape, reformed to form a required shape. Strips can also be made of trimmed magazine papers. We can make different quilling shapes out of coiled strips. 

Steps:

#1. Take one quilling strip(1) of your desired colour ,which you want to be central part of flower. I prefer yellow colour as it looks like pollen grains.

#2. Take one more colour, which would be your petals colour. Now, Cut the strip(2) with scissors as shown in the figure.

#3. Stick the edge of strip 1 with strip 2 as shown below, start rolling it with your quilling tool. Spread the petals.That's it ..! 

      Ready get set go..! Start making your cutie Quilled  flowers. I have collected these snaps to give you proper  idea. Check out your Tiny Quilled Flowers..!

Snow man

Hay, Happy Day..!

Snow man made of socks Cloth & cotton :) :D

Snowman is a Sculpture made from Snow Balls.Snowman are popular for Christmas & winter Decorations. Everybody would love to play with snow & make snowman irrespective of their age. Even I love Snowman but I have never made a snowman physically, especially with Snow. This Strong desire towards Snowman has made me eager enough to make snowman @home. Finally I have done it with Cotton , Coloured cloth Pieces & lace.

Materials:

• Cotton balls

• Red Socks Cloth

• White Cloth Piece

• Red dotted Lace

• Googly eyes

• Stick

• Black Thread

• Gold Coloured Bead

• Blue Stickers

• Tiny beaded Chain

Make:

#1. Take one big cotton ball, insert a stick into middle of Cottonball & put cloth around (looks like head)

#2. At Head, tie some thread at the neck portion & leave remaining Cloth on to stick as shown in Photo.

#3. Take Red Socks Cloth and tie it as a Cap, Stick googly eyes,gold bead on cotton ball.

#4. Tie some beaded chain around cap & lace around neck Portion, stick blue color beads on body.

#5. Take Black thread and sew it above the eyes which look like eyebrows.

                                                 Yippie , SnowMan is Ready...! 

Good for simple Decorations, can be used as protection against Evil Eye for people those who believe in the power attributed to certain persons of inflicting injury or bad luck by such an envious or ill-wishing look.

Origami Art of making Swan:

Origami the name itself tells you folding paper, it's Japaneese traditional art of folding paper to make different shapes of animals , flowers , birds & some attractive designs, it's also referred as the art of transforming sheet of paper into different sculptures.

Materials:  

• White Paper
• Red Sketch Pen
• Black Sketch pen

Make:

• Take A4-Sheet white Paper & follow the instructions in YouTube of How to Make an Origami Swan( Intermediate).
• To the beaks add red colored sketch looks.
• Make two swans & keep them together.
